POSTERS AND BAN­NERS DIS­PLAYED IN VAVUNIYA DISTRICT

Sin­hala and Tamil or­gan­i­sa­tions in the district ask for re­moval of Rishad, His­bul­lah and Asath Sal­ley

Posters and ban­ners ac­cus­ing Min­is­ter Rishad Bathi­udeen, East­ern Prov­ince Gov­er­nor A.L.M. His­bul­lah and Western Prov­ince Gov­er­nor Asath Sal­ley of hav­ing se­cret re­la­tions with ex­trem­ist or­ga­ni­za­tions and com­pelling the gov­ern­ment to re­move them from their posts had been dis­played in promi­nently Sin­hala and Tamil ar­eas in the Vavuniya District.

The ex­trem­ist or­ga­ni­za­tions had cre­ated a sea­son of ter­ror in the coun­try and the min­is­ter and two gov­er­nors sus­pected for their re­la­tion­ship with the ter­ror­ists should be re­moved from their posts

Goods Shed Young Tamil So­ci­ety and Vaniye Sin­hala Api or­ga­ni­za­tions had dis­played the posters and ban­ners at pub­lic places all over the district.

They pointed out that the ex­trem­ist-ter­ror­ist or­ga­ni­za­tions had cre­ated a sea­son of ter­ror in the coun­try and even taken the peace­ful Mus­lim peo­ple their hostage and that the min­is­ter and that the two gov­er­nors sus­pected for their re­la­tion­ship with the ter­ror­ists should be re­moved from their posts.
