Second round kicks-off as Pathana face S. Thomas’

The second round matches of the Inter School Singer Rugby League Tournament will get underway this evening as S.thomas’ college, mount Lavinia host Isipathana College at Mount Lavinia.

Isipathana College second in the points table would dearly love to secure another victory in their attempt to get the top spot ahead of St. Joseph’s College who are the only unbeaten side in the competition.

S. Thomas’ College who had a lot of success at Mount Lavinia this season would be eager to upset another top team having already stunned St. Peter’s College.

The league tournament was postponed for nearly two months following the Easter Sunday attacks.
