Petes come out favorites over Science

St. Peter’s College will come out favourites when they confront Science College Mount Lavinia in their Inter-schools Under-19 League Rugby Tournament second-round encounter at Bambalapitiya today. The kick-off is at 4.00 p.m.

The Peterites had a successful run in the firstround of the tournament and went on to finish on top of their group. Despite suffering a shock defeat against S. Thomas’ in their first match, they bounced back to win their remaining four matches including a stunning win against the reigning League champions Royal College.

Science College if course, qualified for the second-round after they recorded two morale boosting victories over St. Anthony’s College and Zahira College.
