Woman Soldiers Trained as Pre-school Teachers

On the guidelines given by the Commander of the Army, 20 Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) ladies who followed a 6 month-long course on ‘prechildhood development and pre-school teaching’, received their diploma certificates during a graduation ceremony, held recently at the Army Headquarters. The training programme got underway in collaboration with the Jayasekara Management Centre (JMC) under the coordination and supervision of the Army Directorate of Training.
