Galadari Vesak Lantern Competition 2019

Galadari Colombo successfully completed its Vesak Lantern Competition recently. This was the ideal opportunity for all departments of the hotel to showcase their creative and artistic skills and to build friendship among work colleagues. The competition brought to life some amazing talents and the lanterns were showcased after in the Lobby and outside of the hotel for the enjoyment of the guests.

The entire competition was spread across five main categories. The “Creative Lantern” category was won by Laundry with second place going to Finance, “Eco Friendly Lantern” was won by the Cold Kitchen team with second place won by Kitchen Stewarding the “Colorful Lantern” award was bestowed on Housekeeping with second place going to Engineering. “Artistic Lantern” was awarded to the Coffee Shop with second place won by the Security department. “Theme Vesak Lantern” was awarded to the Carving Kitchen with second place won by Front Office.
