AN ENCHANTING EVENING

The piece de resistance was when they played the piano before dinner

-

It was another enchanting evening at Hunters Edge when Mano and Neo hosted a small dinner in honour of Sharmini, widow of the

late Dr Tony Don Michael, her brother and sister in law and Nalini and Nihal

Abeysundera to dinner. Tony, Mano and Nihal were inseparable since their schooldays and I knew them from that time. Sharmini is a lovely person trying hard to cope with life on her own in the US as a widow. Our hosts gave us a delicious dinner and the piece de resistance was when they played the piano before dinner. Playing from light music to classical, their music is therapeutic and one can listen for hours on end. The creative soul is a hard task master, and our hosts are creative in more ways than one. Perfectonists when they entertain, the pursuit of perfection obvious in every touch.
