Australian Minister assures support to restore normalcy in Sri Lanka
Australian External Affairs Minister Peter Dutton made an assurance that his country will support Sri Lanka to regain normalcy after the Easter Sunday attacks and to help counter global terrorism.
Mr. Dutton gave this assurance when he met Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees last morning.
Mr. Wickremesinghe conveyed his best wishes to newly appointed Australin Prime Minister Scott Morrison though Mr. Dutton.
Australian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka David Holly, Australian Ambassador in Charge of countering human trafficking Bryce Hutchession and high- ranking Australian Military Officer Major General Craig Furini and Prime Minister’s Secretary Saman Ekanayake participated in the meeting.
