Chief of Staff awards Prefect Badges

The investiture of Prefects’ Badge at Kurunegala Maliyadeva Model Vidyalaya took place on Tuesday (4) morning, headed by Major General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Staff of the Army as the Chief Guest.

121 students of the school after taking oath as Primary Prefects, Junior Prefects and senior Prefects received those prefect badges from the day’s Chief Guest during the ceremony.

Major General Silva addressed the student community at the occasion and stimulated them to become responsible and educated citizens of the country through discipline.

Mr S.M.D Uditha Bandara, Principal in appreciation of the Chief Guest’s presence at the occasion awarded a special memento to Major General Silva before the culmination of the day’s event.
