Ravi K’s daughter at CID
Minister Ravi Karunanayake’s daughter Onella Karunanayake, yesterday appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to give a statement over allegedly providing false evidence before the presidential commission of inquiry into the bond scam.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne ordered on May 31 the CID to file a case against Minister Karunanayake’s daughter Onella, if it is evident that she has voluntarily neglected to follow the court order made to submit to the CID, relevant documents including the director board reports of Global Transportation and Logistics, a company which is said to be owned by the Karunanayake family.
