Couple arrested with 1.5 grammes of heroin

A couple who had in their possession a stock of 1.5 grammes of heroin was arrested by the STF during a raid at Watarappala Road in Mount Lavinia.

An STF team under Sergeant 39473 Samarakoon carried out the raid on a tip- off from the public.

The suspects were handed over to the Mount Lavinia Police.
