Pathana and Wesley look for first win
Isipathana College will take on Wesley College in their Inter-schools Under-19 League Rugby Tournament secondround match at Havelock Park today.
Both teams are determined to register their first win in the second-round.
Last week, Isipathana drew 12-12 against S. Thomas’ College at Mount Lavinia while Wesley are making their first appearance in the second-round.
Isipathana have in their ranks players of the calibre of Skipper Janith Serasinghe, last year Skipper Manelka Ruberu, Manula Ratnayake, Ramitha de Silva, Raees Akthar and Tharindu Sandaruwan.
The Wesleyites, apart from Skipper Murshid Zubair will bank on Eranga Harshana, Kavindana Perera, Samuel Ogbebor, Sahan Hansaja, Tharusha Jayaweera, Sritheyesh Thavaraja, Raveen Fernando and Tharindu Walpitage.
