HNB and ICCSL launch ex­clu­sive co-branded cor­po­rate credit cards

HNB PLC an­nounced the launch of co-branded cor­po­rate credit cards in part­ner­ship with the In­ter­na­tional Cham­ber of Com­merce Sri Lanka (ICCSL) re­cently.

The new co-branded cor­po­rate credit card will be made avail­able to all ICCSL mem­bers and bun­dled with a slew of ex­clu­sive dis­counts, of­fers, and pro­mo­tions.

The launch was com­mem­o­rated with a spe­cial cer­e­mony at­tended by top of­fi­cials from ICCSL and HNB in­clud­ing HNB Deputy Gen­eral Man­ager, Retail Bank­ing, San­jay Wi­je­manne, HNB Head of Cards, Roshan­tha Jay­atunge to­gether with Shanil Fer­nando, Sec­re­tary, ICCSL , Sheanath De Zoysa, Trea­surer, ICCSL and Ni­hara Nanayakkar­a, Chief Op­er­at­ing Of­fi­cer, ICCSL .

“HNB is proud to have part­nered with an organizati­on as re­puted as the In­ter­na­tional Cham­ber of Com­merce Sri Lanka - an organizati­on whose mem­ber­ship in­cludes over 250 of the most re­spected cor­po­rates in the coun­try.

“ICCSL mem­bers that ap­ply for the new card will be able in turn to is­sue mul­ti­ple cards to top man­age­ment in their re­spec­tive or­gan­i­sa­tions which can then be uti­lized to cover com­pany petty cash ex­penses, travel and en­ter­tain­ment pay­ments, all while en­sur­ing that com­pany ex­penses are handled with com­plete trans­parency,” HNB Head of Cards, Roshan­tha Jay­atunge said.

Through the part­ner­ship, ICCSL mem­bers will also gain ac­cess to ex­clu­sive per­sonal fi­nan­cial ser­vices in ad­di­tion to a variety of dis­counts of­fered by HNB through a far-reach­ing net­work of Master­card mer­chant out­lets lo­cally and in­ter­na­tion­ally.

ICCSL mem­bers will also be en­ti­tled to a 5 – 10 per­cent dis­count on all en­trance tick­ets for ICCSL pro­grammes and an­nual mem­ber­ship fees through the HNB- ICCSL co- branded cor­po­rate Master Credit Card. Waiv­ing off the mem­ber­ship fee and the first an­nual fee, HNB also pledges to share 0.1 per­cent of the rev­enue cre­ated through us­age of the ex­clu­sive card, both lo­cally and in­ter­na­tion­ally, with the ICCSL.

“By part­ner­ing with bank­ing ser­vices providers as dy­namic and in­no­va­tive as HNB we en­sure that our cus­tomers are pro­vided the most value, in­clud­ing ac­cess to a plethora of in­cen­tives from mer­chant out­lets. Ad­di­tion­ally, HNB also shares a per­cent­age of the rev­enue earned through trans­ac­tions made by this unique card, pro­vid­ing the ICCSL with fur­ther value and help­ing us to en­sure that our organizati­on con­tin­ues to grow and thrive,” ICCSL Sec­re­tary, Shanil Fer­nando said.

To en­sure the ex­clu­siv­ity of the ben­e­fits of­fered to ICCSL, mem­bers are re­quired to sub­mit proof of board res­o­lu­tion, cor­po­rate guarantee and let­ter of con­sent to­gether with the re­quired per­sonal details to HNB. The ser­vices and ben­e­fits are also ex­tended to em­ploy­ees of ICCSL mem­ber com­pa­nies.

Op­er­at­ing through 250 cus­tomer cen­tres across the coun­try, HNB is one of Sri Lanka’s largest and most in­no­va­tive banks, hav­ing won recog­ni­tion from nu­mer­ous in­ter­na­tional and lo­cal in­sti­tu­tions for its achievemen­t of ex­cel­lence in di­verse fields.
