EDB holds work­shop for rub­ber small­hold­ers

The first work­shop on ‘pro­duc­tiv­ity im­prove­ment for rub­ber small­hold­ers through adap­ta­tion of mod­ern tech­nol­ogy’ was suc­cess­fully con­cluded by the Ex­port De­vel­op­ment Board (EDB) in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Plan­ta­tion In­dus­tries Min­istry, RDD and RRI in Ke­galle, re­cently for 40 se­lected small­holder rub­ber farm­ers.

Plan­ta­tion In­dus­tries Min­istry Ad­di­tional Sec­re­tary Co­conut and Rub­ber was the chief guest of the event.

Rub­ber De­vel­op­ment De­part­ment Direc­tor Gen­eral, EDB In­dus­trial Prod­ucts Direc­tor, Thu­rusaviya Fund Chair­man, Rub­ber and Rub­ber Based Prod­ucts Ad­vi­sory Com­mit­tee Chair­man and Cam­soload­star (Pvt.) Ltd Com­mod­ity Direc­tor were among the other in­vi­tees.
