HOW WELCOMING DO YOU THINK INTERNATIONAL MARKET IS TO SRI LANKA AFTER THE BOMBING?

Majority of the foreign investments, opportunities and excitement was on the premise that Sri Lanka was peaceful and safe.

This incident is going to put a damper on that sentiment. We will only feel this in 3-6 months as new investment decisions are being made and evaluated. Current commitments will be fulfilled failing on-going catastrophe.

HOW LONG AND HOW DEEP THE IMPACT?

That will depend on how quickly we address the underlying issues, and prevent terrorist attacks and civil unrest. Sooner we can establish security and a semblance of peace, investors and excitement will return.
