IN COLOMBO N° 11 KEPPETIPOLA MAWATHA
The Alliance Française de Kotte’s team is made up of well qualified teachers who specialize in teaching French as a foreign language. Some of them are native speakers, others are authors of literature on teaching methods, but all of them contribute to a recognized excellence in teaching. Workshops and training sessions are regularly organized for the teachers, with the support of French authorities, in order to maintain the best standards and methods. The Alliance Française de Kotte organizes a lot of cultural events throughout the year: French artists, debates, exhibitions, wine and cheese tastings and French movie screenings. If you become a member, you can benefit from special rates and have the opportunity of borrowing French books, magazines and DVD’S from the library.

The Alliance Française de Kandy was founded in 1967, making it the oldest French language and cultural center of the city, preparing to all exams, including the O-level and A-level. Many events are organized by the Alliance: movie screenings, clean river projects, literary evenings, art exhibitions, talent shows…
IN JAFFNA 61 KACHCHERI-NALLUR ROAD
The Alliance Française de Jaffna has been the leading French language teaching center in Jaffna for fifteen years. Since 2017, the Alliance Française de Jaffna has been conducting special classes to teach French to deaf students. A digitization project of the archives was developed in partnership with the British library in London.
IN MATARA N° 03 SRI SUNANDA MAWATHA RAHULA JUNCTION
The Alliance Française de Matara was founded in 1997 and recently moved to its new premises! The Alliance offers both French classes and cultural activities. It also gives extramural classes, in collaboration with the Sri Lankan ministry of Education.
IN GALLE 196/A WAKWELLA ROAD
The Alliance Française de Galle was created in 2007 as an annex to the Alliance in Matara and contribute to cultural exchanges in the city.
