Man killed, wife injured in accident
A young man had been killed and his wife was seriously injured when their motorcycle hit the rear of a lorry that had been parked by the roadside at Gevilipitiya on the Aranayake – Mawanella Road.
The victim L.g.anuragna (29) was a resident of Welikumbura in Aranayake.
The couple, who work at a private establishment in Nittambuwa, were on their way to work as usual when they met with an accident. His wife who sustained serious injuries in the incident was admitted to Mawanella Base Hospital.
