Jyothika to team up with Sasikumar?

Jyothika’s recently-released film Jackpot has received mixed reviews from the audience. The film, starring Revathi and Yogi Babu in the lead roles, is a fantasy-comedy about a Hindu mythological object Akshayapathiram. The Kushi actress is currently on a film signing spree. So far in 2019, the actress has had two releases - Jackpot and Raatchasi. She has also signed up for two other upcoming projects - Pon Magal Vandhal and an untitled project with brother-in-law Karthi. Now, a report published in Indiaglitz, has confirmed that Jo is teaming up with director R Saravanan for a project, which will also star actor-director M Sasikumar. Jyothika was on a long break from acting after her wedding to Tamil star Suriya. After years, she made her comeback with the film 36 Vayadhinile, which released in 2015. She also acted in Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, where she was paired opposite Arvind Swami. Her latest release Jackpot is making decent money at the box office. India Today reviewer Kirubhakar Purushothaman rated the film with 3 stars and wrote, “Jyothika and Revathi’s Jackpot is a mindless entertainer. It compensates its lack of logic with an abundance of humour.”
