Expressing his views on the project, D Tech Chief Operating Officer Sanharsha Jayatissa said: “Waves is a brand that captures the beauty of Sri Lanka not just through its eye-catching designs but also through how it’s manufactured - by using locally sourced rubber and local expertise. We are excited to be given the opportunity to create their online store, thereby creating a platform for the client to reach the wider, tech-savvy audience of Sri Lanka. I am sure the new online store will ‘make waves’ and be a big hit in the market.”

D Tech Associate Project Manager Kusal Dissanayaka said: “Waves wanted a web design partner that understood what the brand stands for and would be able to translate that into a design that captivates the target audience. The project was completed on time using the latest tools and technologies with scope for adding new features and functionalities in the future. Waves flip-flops are known for making a difference and I am confident that our solution will also make a difference to how customers would enjoy the Waves products.”

Waves Brand Manager Oshini Jayasuriya said: “Since Waves is evolved around the youth, fashion and trends we were clear from the start that we would need a team that understands the key attributes about the brand. When we first approached D Tech, we were confident that the team will contribute effectively to our objective. Hence, we were happy to work with a young team as the brand is always open to give opportunity to young talent.”
