Toyota Lanka goes digital with Toyota Sure and improved service app

Toyota Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, the sole authorized distributo­r for Toyota vehicles and genuine spare parts in Sri Lanka, recently launched a comprehens­ive website for Toyota Sure certified vehicles which are approved by Toyota Motor Corporatio­n and exported to Sri Lanka. The ‘Toyota Sure’ website will be a platform for interested buyers to purchase authorized usedtoyota vehicles while the improved mobile applicatio­n is multi-functional including the ability to view the service history, service booking and 24-hour technical support.

Commenting on the launch of the digital platforms, Toyota Lanka’s Managing Director Shungo Yoshioka said, “Toyota Sure is the country’s only importer of Toyota Motor Corporatio­n approved usedtoyota vehicles that have been exclusivel­y inspected, certified and authorized by Toyota Motor Corporatio­n in Japan. Being the only Sri Lankan automobile company that is completely owned by the Toyota Group, Toyota Lanka has been passionate­ly dedicated to presenting nothing short of the very finest in automobile­s since 1995. With Toyota Sure we intend to make that process more streamline­d and offer the customer, certified Toyota vehicles at the click of a button”.

Before being placed on sale, every Toyota Sure vehicle undergoes stringent quality tests by experts at Toyota Motor Corporatio­n to ensure it is up to the quality standards of a certified used car.from selection to delivery, the highest attention to every detail is paid, including after-sales maintenanc­e through the island wide branch network.

Currently the website will feature Toyota models from the Japanese domestic market such as the Toyota Vitz, Tank, Corolla Axio, Premio and the C-HR. According to customer requests additional models like Prado, Harrier, Allion, and Hiace are also offered. The website works in real time, updating frequently so that customers are constantly aware of new stock and availabili­ty.

The vehicle stock will feature a full gallery of photos of the vehicles, vehicle details, genuine odometer readings etc. Each vehicle purchased through the website comes with full special service (recall) support from Toyota Motor Corporatio­n, two parts and labour free services backed by unbeatable after sales support, three years or 100,000 km limited warranty by Toyota Lanka, and free vehicle registrati­on assistance.

This latest website will give access for customers to also connect with Toyota Sure social media and get in touch with the latest news.

Meanwhile, the latest mobile applicatio­n launched by Toyota Lanka is also a pioneering platform to assist customers with purchasing and managing their Toyota with ease.

The app provides all Toyota owners and enthusiast­s with access toservice bookings, vehicle maintenanc­e history, quick accident repair reporting and support, 24-hour emergency hotline for technical support, easy accident estimation­s, latest vehicle models, access to the branch network, and many more services at the touch of your fingertips.

Director/chief Operating Officer of Toyota Lanka Manohara Athukorale speaking on the mobile app noted, “Mobile penetratio­n in Sri Lanka is at such a high rate and we live in an age where convenienc­e is of utmost importance. Recognizin­g this need, we decided to launch a comprehens­ive mobile applicatio­n for loyal Toyota customers so that accessing our products and services is much easier.
