Ranjit Page appointed as Cargills Bank Chairman
Cargills Bank Ltd yesterday announced the appointment of Ranjit Page as Chairman of the bank, with effect from September 19, 2019.
Louis Page, the founder Chairman of the bank, retires on reaching 70 years of age, in line with the Central Bank regulations.
The incoming Chairman, Ranjit Page played a pivotal role in Cargills, CT Holdings foray into the financial services sector and served as Deputy Chairman of the bank since inception and was intricately involved in the strategy formulation of the bank.
Ranjit Page is Deputy Chairman/managing Director of C T Holdings PLC and Deputy Chairman/chief Executive Officer of Cargills (Ceylon) PLC and also serves on the boards of several other companies.
