Durdans Hospital announces special offers, packages for Agrahara beneficiar­ies

Durdans Hospital has signed a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MOU) with National Insurance Trust Fund (NITF), launching a range of exclusive discount offers and packages to serve state sector employees better.

Agrahara beneficiar­ies are now eligible to a 20 percent discount on laboratory investigat­ions, radiology services and cardiac investigat­ions and special rates on room charges. In addition, a 20 percent discount has also been availed to family members on these services on outpatient basis.

Special surgical packages for inpatients are available on bypass surgery, brain surgery, hip and knee replacemen­t, kidney transplant, caesarean or normal childbirth packages and Radiofrequ­ency ablation. Admission fees will also be waived off and ambulance services for Colombo 1 to 15 granted.

An exclusive counter has been made available for Agrahara patients to facilitate comprehens­ive customer service and support. From beginning to the end of a patient’s journey a dedicated person will be assigned to the Agrahara beneficiar­y, aimed at expediting a personalis­ed service.

Nearly 500,000 employees serve in the state sector. Agrahara was establishe­d under the Act No. 28 of 2006 under the Ministry of Policy Planning and Economic Affairs to elevate the standards of living of state sector employees.
