Vigilant Security partners China’s Safeway System to introduce baggage scanning solutions
Long-established Sri Lankan integrated security solutions provider Vigilant Security and Investigation Services (Pvt.) Ltd recently tied up with China’s largest manufacturer of X-ray baggage scanners, Safeway System.
This partnership further fortifies Vigilant’s dominance in the local security solutions market, and elevates the company’s solutions offering to meet the sudden escalation of precautionary security measures implemented across the island.
Following the formalisation of Vigilant’s distributorship for Safeway, the company has already completed a number of immediate high profile installations across Sri Lanka at several corporate offices, high security business centres and hotels.
With the delivery of over 10,000 units annually, Safeway’s X-ray Baggage Scanners, branded ‘Antianxia’ (translated to ‘make a safe world’ in Chinese) are the most famous brand in China’s security inspection market today, with the largest market share.
Adhering to international regulatory standards such as ISO, CE, FDA and FCC for conformity, Safeway System won 43 percent of China’s metro security tenders in 2018. The scanner tunnel sizes vary from 42”x33” to 150”x180” to meet the diverse requirements of different market segments.
