Atlas Axillia recognised for outstandin­g workplace safety

Atlas Axillia has been recognised for its outstandin­g levels of workplace health and safety, at the recently concluded National Occupation­al Safety and Health Excellence Awards, which was held at the Mahinda Rajapakse Nelum Pokuna Theatre in Colombo.

Atlas Axillia Co. (Private) Limited was presented with two Special Achievemen­t Awards 2018 for occupation­al safety and health and most effective systematic implementa­tion for safety by the awarding body, the National Institute of Occupation­al Safety and Health (NIOSH).

Speaking about the awards, Atlas Axilla Director Operations Viraj Jayasooriy­a said, “It is an honour to have our diligent efforts recognised by the NIOSH, which is the statutory body in Sri Lanka tasked with assessing and promoting workplace safety. These awards are a testament to the fact that, at Atlas Axillia, our people are our most valuable asset.
