Atlas Axillia recognised for outstanding workplace safety
Atlas Axillia has been recognised for its outstanding levels of workplace health and safety, at the recently concluded National Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Awards, which was held at the Mahinda Rajapakse Nelum Pokuna Theatre in Colombo.
Atlas Axillia Co. (Private) Limited was presented with two Special Achievement Awards 2018 for occupational safety and health and most effective systematic implementation for safety by the awarding body, the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
Speaking about the awards, Atlas Axilla Director Operations Viraj Jayasooriya said, “It is an honour to have our diligent efforts recognised by the NIOSH, which is the statutory body in Sri Lanka tasked with assessing and promoting workplace safety. These awards are a testament to the fact that, at Atlas Axillia, our people are our most valuable asset.
