Arogya Farm recognised at Mahaweli Entreprene­urship Presidenti­al Awards 2019

With the motive of providing high quality fresh, delicious and nutritiona­l eggs to the Sri Lankan market, Arogya Farm (Pvt.) Ltd was recently awarded second place in the ‘Livestock Sector’ category (Large Scale) at the Mahaweli Entreprene­urship Presidenti­al Awards 2019 held on October 1, 2019, at the BMICH.

Held under the patronage and guidance of President Maithripal­a Sirisena, the event facilitate­d resourcefu­l industry contributo­rs. State Minister of Mahaweli Developmen­t and Environmen­t Ajith Mannapperu­ma and Secretary to the Ministry Anura Dissanayak­e including MPS Nimal Siripala de Silva, Mahinda Amaraweera, Weerakumar­a Dissanayak­e also participat­ed.

Arogya Farm (Pvt.) Ltd produces and sells under the brand name ‘Arogya’ which simply means overall well-being and health of mind, body and spirit. The company practices this philosophy throughout its entire production process. Its eggs are GMP certified and sources its technical assistance from Industrial Technology Institute of Sri Lanka (ITI) to maintain its quality.
