Soon the BMICH will be abuzz with excitement as approximately 800 boys of the College by the Sea gather to rehearse for their upcoming musical extravaganza. The show is sure to enthrall the audience as the evening of song, dance and music unfolds with students, together with the Western Band and the Lower School Hewisi band, taking the stage. Much loved songs from the Abba collection, Greatest Showman, Superheroes, and a tribute to the late Vinodh Senadheera are certain to touch your heart with their special aura; each item carefully choreographed to perfection.

Rally Round Rock and Roll staged its inaugural show, “Rally Round the College Flag”, in the year 2003. This first ever production turned out to be a great success in the hands of the much famed Jith Peiris, an illustrious old boy of the school. Since then, many have contributed their time and effort to showcase Thomian talent, Vinodh Senadheera being among its most ardent and committed; a name that will, undoubtedly be etched in the annals of Thomian history.

An ambitious joint venture embarked upon by the school and its Parent-teacher

Association (PTA) to raise funds for the Smart Classroom Project, the upcoming show has had students from Kindergarten to College Forms as well as staff stretching themselves to the limit to ensure the highest standards of performance.

With the proceeds of the show and many other ventures, the School intends equipping every single classroom, undoubtedly assisted by its ever loyal, enthusiastic and committed old boys, and parents.

The show goes on boards on the

Tickets will be available at the Sports Complex office during school days and at the Old Boys’ Association Secretariat. Purchase your tickets and contribute towards this worthy cause while treating yourself to another unforgettable Thomian experience.
