DIMO re-imagines construction in Sri Lanka with Fischer
Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO), one of Sri Lanka’s leading diversified companies, together with Fischer, the globally renowned fixing solutions company, recently conducted a product portfolio re-introduction and knowledge sharing session with Sri Lanka’s top construction industry companies.
Having tied up with German manufacturing giant Fischer Group of Companies, DIMO has been marketing Fischer products in Sri Lanka for over 15 years.
Fischer fixings products are globally renowned to be the specialist for safe and economic fixings and connections on a building site and have become one of the market leaders over the last six decades.

Two representatives from Fischer, Export Manager Andreas Jester and Passive Fire Protection Systems Product and Marketing Manager Constantin Wiegert, explained to the audience about the Anchoring and Fire Protection Systems products offered by Fischer.
The two German experts elaborated on how these Fischer products can help boost the construction industry in Sri Lanka.
After the product presentations, the attention shifted to an informative panel discussion that included leading professionals in the construction industry in Sri Lanka; DIMO Executive Director Eng. Wijith Pushpawela, Stems Consultants (Pte) Ltd
Director Eng. Ananda Senarath and Stems Consultants (Pte) Ltd Managing Director Eng. S.A. Karunaratne, together with the two Fischer representatives.
The panel discussion was moderated by RDC (Pvt.) Ltd Architectural and Buildings Director Eng. Samitha Jayakody.
