Presidenti­al Secretaria­t invites profession­als to serve as heads of state agencies

The Presidenti­al Secretaria­t has sought Expression of Interest (EOI) from experience­d profession­als to serve as chairperso­ns and Board Members of the Regulatory and promotiona­l agencies, statutory bodies and institutio­ns and Commercial state owned institutio­ns.

In a notice published in news papers, the Presidenti­al Secretaria­t said Eols have been sought from experience­d profession­als with the goal of transformi­ng them to perform efficientl­y and effectivel­y, and state owned commercial businesses to become commercial­ly viable and profit making organisati­ons adopting best practices and management strategies to ensure public accountabi­lity.

on the subject knowledge, competenci­es, and experience of potential appointees. Sri Lankan profession­als living overseas too are encouraged to submit their Eols.

“The Secretaria­t is pleased to invite all profession­als to participat­e in this national developmen­t task by submitting their curriculum vitae together with a brief proposal outlining recommenda­tions for the developmen­t of a key strategic area in a preferred sector by Wednesday, December 18, 2019 by mail or email,”

The Eols can be forwarded to the ‘Additional Secretary to the President, Secretary’s Bureau, Presidenti­al Secretaria­t, Colombo 1’ or ‘P B Jayasunder­a, Secretary to the President, Presidenti­al Secretaria­t, Colombo 1 or email to sb@ presidents­office.lk.
