Sampath partners with KEB Hana to expand money transfers from Korea

With the aim of expanding and expediting remittance facilities for Sri Lankans employed in Korea, Sampath Bank recently entered into a partnershi­p with KEB Hana Bank in Korea.

About 30,000 Sri Lankans are currently employed in Korea and with the rising demand for skilled labour, more Lankans are expected to migrate to Korea for better prospects.

Sampath Bank also offers a wider ATM network coverage available for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

One of the key benefits of Sampath E-remittance is that it offers highest exchange rate for their remittance­s.the remitter will receive instant notificati­on with SMS alert upon completion of the transactio­n. It also offers the unparallel­ed benefits of Sampath Mobile Cash.

Sri Lankan expats who obtain the service will be further eligible to obtain Personal, Housing or Vehicle Loan facilities for competitiv­e interest rates.

Remitters can transfer money to their Sampath Bank account directly and credit to any Sri Lankan commercial bank Account via Sampath E-remittance service. The remitter also can send money in Foreign currency to PFCA or IIA (Inward Investment Account) account holders of Sampath Bank or other banks.
