Honda Motorcycles; best choice for corporate fleets

-

The executive range of Honda bikes offered by Stafford Motor Company Sri Lanka, including CB Shine 125CC and CD Dream 110CC is markedly the number one choice in Sri Lanka for corporate and bulk buying.

“Both Honda CD Dream and CB Shine are hassle free and durable motorcycles designed for daily commute with many eco-friendly aspects and ensures maximum fuel efficiency to provide the users with cost efficiency. The claimed mileage for the Honda CB Shine is 65km/l and for the Honda Dream is 72km/l. Both bikes have been seen as number one choice in Sri Lanka when it comes to corporate purchases, especially for young executives. In addition, both bike models have high resale value. As such, it is a good investment for corporates as well as individuals,” said Charaka Perera, Director/chief Operating Officer of Stafford Motor

Co. (Pvt.) Ltd, the sole authorised distributor for Honda in Sri Lanka.

The Honda CD Dream, comes with Honda Eco Technology (HET), low rolling resistance tyres, fourstroke, single-cylinder HET engine tuned to produce 8.31bhp of power and 9.09 Nm of torque. Power is channelled to the rear wheel via a four-speed transmission.

Honda CB Shine has a BS IV engine and auto headlamp on. CB Shine is a 125cc commuter bike and according to the Japanese manufacturer, it is a bike that is built for performance and efficiency. It comes with graphics on the fuel tank giving it a distinct style.

The bike is powered by a 124.7cc single cylinder air-cooled HET engine which manages to churn out 10.16bhp and 10.30Nm of torque. Honda CB Shine is available in two different colours while Honda Dream comes with three colours.

These fuel efficient motorcycles can be ridden up to 4,000km until the first service whereas an ordinary motorcycle available in the market would require a service by 2,500km travel.

Because of the alloy wheels, which are more rigid, Honda Dream and Honda Shine both can handle higher speeds and higher amounts of horsepower and torque with relative ease. The solid, unflexing nature of the alloy wheels also makes Honda CD Dream and Honda CB Shine more predictable, especially at higher cornering speeds where stability and consistency are paramount.

Stafford Motor Company has been one of the oldest Honda distributorships amongst the network of worldwide Honda distributors. For nearly four decades the company has consistently strived to provide an unparalleled level of service and surpass customers’ expectations.
