Amãna Bank expands network by over 750 locations islandwide

„First bank in Sri Lanka to facilitate account deposits through Pay& Go

Amãna Bank has joined hands with Megapay (Pvt.) Ltd, the operators of Pay&go kiosks to become the first bank in Sri Lanka to enable its customers the convenienc­e of depositing money to their accounts through Pay&go Kiosks located islandwide, without any additional charges.

Amãna Bankchief Executive Officer Mohamed Azmeer said: “We are excited to have partnered with Pay&go, an entity authorised by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka under the Agent Banking Platform, which has enabled all Amãna Bank customers across the country to directly deposit money and enjoy real-time credits to their accounts at over 700 Pay&go kiosks thereby increasing the bank’s reach to over 750 locations. Amãna Bank continuous­ly strives to enhance the convenienc­e offered to its customers and believes in the path of collaborat­ion to achieve this.”

Pay&go have transforme­d the way Sri Lankans make everyday payments by taking every measure to ensure convenienc­e, through placing kiosks in all prominent locations and customer hotspots.”

With the addition of over 700 Pay&go kiosks, Amana Bank’s reach surpasses 750 deposit points which includes 31 branches and 19 self-banking centres. Further customers can also withdraw cash from over 4,000 ATM access points islandwide while also enjoying an array of customer convenienc­es such as internet and mobile banking, door step banking, debit card with SMS alerts, online account opening, 365 day banking, Saturday banking, extended banking hours, 24x7 cash deposit machines and banking units exclusivel­y for ladies.
