Srilankan gives away 3 million Flysmiles miles...

Christmas is a season of giving and Srilankan Airlines’ frequent flyer programme Flysmiles has provided travellers with 3 million more reasons to smile this festive season by giving away a whopping 3 million miles to lucky travellers, travelling onboard during December 20 to 25.

The camapaign was part of a series of passenger engagement initiative­s steered by the airlines’ Marketing team which have received global accolades in the recent months. Sharing the spirit of cultural festivitie­s with passengers at its home base, BIA has been well-received by both the Sri Lankan and foreign travellers, which have created in them a sense of belonging and interest in the unique facets of Sri Lankan way of life. The campaign ‘the spirit of Vesak at BIA’ successful­ly executed by the Marketing team last May, won the ‘Marketing Innovation 2020’ title at the APEX Awards recently.

Flysmiles to many exciting destinatio­ns such as Colombo, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, Melbourne, Tokyo, London, Dubai, Doha and Canton.

Srilankan Airlines Ground Handling Agents distribute­d coupons to enter the draw, with a traveller onboard drawing the winning coupons. The winners receive a confirmati­on letter on-board with regard to the win and the prizes can be redeemed by contacting the airline’s promotions offices.
