CNCI to conduct seminar on Customs procedure, import/export documentation
The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI), the pioneer industry chamber in Sri Lanka, has organised a comprehensive full-day seminar on ‘Modernised Customs Procedure and Imports/exports Documentation’.
The CNCI has studied that many company employees engaged in the logistics and import and export administration do need development in the areas of Customs procedure and import/ export documentation for their professional efficiency as well as their personal development.
With the rapid advancement of technology, the Customs procedures are changed constantly in a manner that the table and counter activities are more user-friendly. It is witnessed that since in the recent past, Sri Lanka Customs has been taking tremendous efforts to introduce and implement efficient upgrades to several activities and processes to facilitate international trade. In such a scenario, the CNCI deems it useful to update its members with the modernised Customs procedures.
This important seminar has been scheduled to be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo 3.
