‘Appuwa’ bids adieu at the age of 66

Veteran actor Sri Lal Abeykoon, popularly known as ‘Appuwa’ for his role in the famous teledrama ‘Kopi Kade,’ passed away on Thursday at the age of 66.

The actor who had been admitted to the Mirigama Hospital due to an illness had died while undergoing treatment.

The funeral will be held today at the Malwatta Cemetery.
