‘Secret of the Rose’ preparing to spread fragrance

Young film enthusiast Iran Godamunne has just completed the trailer of his maiden cinematic directorial venture ‘The Secret of the Rose’ (Rosa Rahasa) featuring a team of committed artistes. 26-year-old Iran proved himself in the subject having done a few short films that caught the attention of film analysts. ‘The Secret of the Rose’ which is complete now, has been produced by his mother Dhammi Godamunne, who also produced the movie ‘Hela Langa’ while playing the female lead in it. “The Secret of the Rose’ is a mystery, romance, psychological thriller interspersed with a love triangle. It’s my original story which I developed from 2014. Roshan Ravindra was my sole choice from the time I started writing the script. Finally I got Roshan to play the dream role of mine and I am introducing Vindy Madapatha as the newest heroine to Sinhala cinema with the ‘Secret of the Rose’. Besides Roshan Ravindra, the other keyb roles are played by Roshan Ranawana , Richard Weerakkody, Vindy Madapatha and child actress Sheneli Samaradiwakara.
