LOVE IN THE TIME OF CORONA

-

The world is experiencing a pandemic, a virus that seems to have appeared from thin air and spiralled out of control. In the absence of a scientific cure, I would suggest that the world should respond with viral love and it should spread faster than the coronavirus and that love should keep spreading across the world. Love is potent, love is powerful and above all love is allencompassing.

The greatest writers, poets and artists have all resorted to using love to convey powerful messages using love as its central theme especially in times of trials and tribulations.

At a time like this, people are distraught, confused, and ridden with anxiety. While some people do not know what to do some know exactly what to do in this current situation regarding the Coronavirus.

In a situation or time like this love is a great positive factor. Everybody should practise love because it brings many benefits to people even the people around them. In a situation like this love is essential because of all the benefits it can bring to a person. One benefit of love is that it can release a type of hormone in your body, known as dopamine which is essentially a feel-good hormone, this will benefit people in various guises and will distract them from all the glum news which is being presented and circulated on social media. It can be argued that the hormone dopamine is as powerful as any drug. This is an excellent benefit of love because dopamine distracts people from negativity. Love also has numerous significant health benefits, which is an amazing advantage at a time like this.

It is scientifically proven that love helps, strengthens and improves the immune system of an organism by lowering the blood pressure and decreasing stress levels. At such times, love should be an essential part of one’s life, people may be in the shadow about the benefits of love and they may be spreading love without them receiving any love back. People need to be made aware of the countless and number of benefits of love. By spreading love in the current situation, unbeknownst to them, people will be positively affecting and spreading love to the people around them. People can spread love in various ways, by helping people get food during lockdown or curfew time, by comforting anxious and confused people and providing a delivery service to people so they can get their food products with ease.

In this current period, people are worrying about how they are going to get vegetables and food so by assisting these people you are spreading love while big businesses are providing services inturn for money trying to exploit the situation. To keep the peace and calmness amongst the people the number one solution is love. In a time of trauma, despair, uncertainty and distraught love can go a long way and can help a large number of people even without you realising. Love can help both the other person and you at once which will then, in turn, keep you healthy and will boost your immunity.

This will increase the level of protection you have from the deadly coronavirus. Love is a very complex thing but in a time like this, with coronavirus love is an essential factor to keep everybody’s spirits and moods high amongst all the negativity.

If you had a large bag of vegetables which you had just purchased and seen an old lady walking by with less than a quarter of what you had in your bag, would you have given some of your vegetables? If you had, would you not feel instantly happy that you just helped a person and showed her love by giving your vegetables?

That is the kind of love that needs to exist in the world at this point of history. Currently, we need love to grow amongst people, amongst the community and across the world. “Love only grows by sharing” This is a meaningful quote by Brian Tracy. By giving what we have to less fortunate people we are spreading love among people only hoping that it helps another and keep them immune to the coronavirus and the negative news around it.

It is not a challenging or difficult task to share so next time you see a person or animal with none or less amount of food, money or affection go over and help them out because it will benefit you as well as them, especially in times like these. Love is an emotion or feeling everybody needs to have at all times, especially at such times like these, when people are becoming terminally sick, people are dying and some are miraculously getting healed and cured.

People need love for comfort, affection, answers and someone to talk to about their feelings and opinions. Love is a complex emotion or feeling and love can cause destruction but if love is used correctly new friendships, new bridges and new connections can be made and this will be the positive outcome of love and will benefit numerous people.

Love is a universal language which can be understood by almost everybody, even if you do not speak the same language, love can be understood by everyone; love is a useful and effective language because it is understood universally. In some cases, people may receive love but they don’t realise that they had, although they were happier than when they received the love because of the rise in the person’s dopamine levels.

An advantage of dopamine is that it also improves an organism’s immune system which keeps the organism safe and immune from the coronavirus let alone any other sickness.

Love also decreases anxiety and keeps depression at bay, which is very useful during the time of this virus. A recent study shows that people who are more lonely and do not experience a significant amount of love were more vulnerable to a virus than the people who were less lonely and were surrounded by people and also received a generous amount of love.

By keeping a person surrounded by genuine people and a fair amount of love they are also kept more immune to any virus that can harm a person.

A method to incorporate love into your life is to be more loving towards yourself as well as being more kind to yourself. You have to treat yourself the way you would treat a person who you are truly in love with. Imagine a world full of people who just loved themselves to their core and for who they are.

The people on Earth would be radiating pure love from their hearts and would almost always be happy and healthy because of the countless health benefits of love. The more love you give the more love you will receive. Love has the ability to heal the world. When love takes hold of someone, resistance is almost impossible. Love has the capacity to heal wounds and purify yourself of any negativity that is held within you and as a result slowly but surely harming you from the inside which then later might negatively affect the people around you like a chain reaction.

Loving and being loved is the core of the human race, when we feel unloved we feel less than what we are.

This is not helpful at all because when we feel unloved we tend to lose our feeling of selfworth which will have a negative impact on our family, friends and ourselves.

The biggest impact it can have on ourselves is the low level of immunity and then our immunity to viruses will decrease leaving us more vulnerable to viruses. In each person there is an unlimited, never-ending supply of love; we will never run out of love and we can always take in an endless amount of love in.

This is great news especially when the coronavirus is taking people’s lives each day, people can keep loving, always increasing their immunity to viruses, especially the coronavirus.

The people can stay immune to viruses if they tap into the endless supply of love and keep spreading love and taking in and accepting love. So, in conclusion, the human race needs love to survive and stay immune to deadly viruses such as the coronavirus. In a time like this people need to spread the love by giving as well as accepting love and loving themselves. We need love to survive when the going gets tough.
