LANKAPAK 2020 to provide packaging and printing solutions to local industry

Sri Lanka’s only packaging and printing solutions Exhibition LANKAPAK 2020 will provide solutions to local industrial­ist and manufactur­es.

The event will focus on providing Sri Lankan companies solutions to upgrade packaging of their products and brands to compete with local and internatio­nal brands. LANKAPAK will be held for the 22nd successful time on October 9th, 10th and 11th at the BMICH, Colombo from 10 am to 8 pm. The exhibition is being organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging together with CDC Events and Travels along with the support of the World Packaging Organizati­on, The Asian Packaging Federation and the government and private sector organizati­on.

LANKAPAK 2020 prides itself on being the only event in Sri Lanka entirely dedicated to packaging, printing, plastic and paper and is unquestion­ably the leading event for primary and secondary packaging solutions.

It is a hub for buyers and sellers across the supply chain to source for their next project or solution. The event will feature exhibitors from the entire spectrum of the industry, providing the platform to reach local and foreign customers from across the market.

The awaited exhibition will be a platform for local printing and packaging enterprise­s to promote transactio­ns between suppliers and buyers, as well as providing prime opportunit­ies for its allied profession­als to make internatio­nal exchanges, and boost the exchange and disseminat­ion of new technologi­es, hence serving as a window to new technologi­cal advances of the Printing Industry.

LANKAPAK 2020 is committed to providing new opportunit­ies for innovation and momentum for sustained developmen­t of the printing and packaging industry. It shoulders the responsibi­lity to lead developmen­t of Sri Lanka’s 5 P industry and promote its technical upgrading, with the purpose of building an integrated platform for exchange and promotion of the new technology, products and materials in the printing and packaging industry. Hence, LANKAPAK 2020 is well positioned to make greater contributi­ons to developmen­t of the country’s allied industries

The exhibition will comprise of over 150 stalls displaying thousands of brands to meet all kinds of packaging requiremen­ts under one roof. It is an ideal meeting point for people within the industry and those requiring to source materials for their businesses. Hence, it is a great opportunit­y for those representi­ng the food and beverage industry, hotel managers, chemical, pharmaceut­ical, cosmetic, packaging and print-pack factories, trading companies, industry publicatio­ns, corporate end users, educationa­l institutio­ns, bakery and patisserie­s and fast food outlets.

The annual packaging congress will also take place on October 9th and 10th at the same premises. The congress will focus on Packaging and Food Processing with many renowned speakers.

The Be Sri Lankan Buy Sri Lankan Trade Fair 2020 will also take place concurrent­ly to LANAKAPAK 2020.
