Sun Match creates spark with unique hygiene brand

Sun Match Company (Pvt.) Ltd, owners of the leading household brand ‘Soorya’, has announced the launch of a range of new products under the brand name ‘Sun’.

True to the strength in its name, the innovative brand offers effective germ protection, with the added benefit of a refreshing fragrance.

Referring to the importance and relevance of launching such a product, company Director Gowri Rajan stated, “With the global pandemic showing no signs of slowing down and the World Health Organisati­on unceasingl­y reminding us to wash our hands and disinfect our belongings, we have to entrust the safety of our lives to the numerous products which have flooded the market. With our vision of a ‘Healthy Life, A Healthy Nation’ and in keeping with our strict adherence to quality, we have introduced Sun Surface Disinfecta­nt Sprays that come in two refreshing fragrances, Lemon Fresh and Ice Pine Fresh. “

Certified as a food grade product, the ‘Sun’ brand guarantees the total annihilati­on of 99 percent of germs without the use of water on the surface, solely due to the usage of a technology called the broad-spectrum biological activity against germs.

With innovation at the forefront, the brand range breaks the category clutter and introduces a long-lasting fragrance that differenti­ates it from the basic germ kill. The delicate and refreshing aroma of lemons and ice pine is proven to uplift the mood and enhance the feeling of freshness.

With the newly launched liquid disinfecta­nt spray, Sun Match aims at creating the much-needed behavioura­l shift and awareness about hygiene among Sri Lankan consumers by reinforcin­g the habit of keeping surfaces clean as the most basic hygiene ritual during this pandemic period. Sun Match is also looking at increasing the market penetratio­n of the product in cities through its dedicated team of distributo­rs.

While the product is the first among many other superior products, the Sun product range will also include the hand wash and herbal mosquito repellant lotion. Both these products are made with ingredient­s that are suitable for all skin types.

Soorya’s product range includes the numerous selection of 14 incense sticks ranging to 14 different variants, the familiar aroma of Soorya perfume sticks wafting through the ornate houses of worship, Soorya candles and Sun toothpicks.
