Dejected husband leaves wife and properties to paramour

The story of a husband leaving his wife, two children, their house and properties in the hands of his wife’s paramour and taking their leave was reported from a village in Senkadagal­a.

The 37-year-old man an employee of a private company in Colombo was living in a boarding in Colombo due to his work.his 35 year old wife and two children had been living in their home in the village. During one of his weekly visits a friend had informed him regarding a visitor who happened to frequent his house while he was away.the man had decided to act on his own and set up a plan.

He left for Colombo as usual after spending the weekend with his family but returned within a few days unannounce­d and stayed with his friend in a nearby house where he could watch his own house.at around 10.00 pm he had observed a man entering his house.the man had then given a couple of calls to his relatives and asked them to come to his house for an urgent matter. He together with his friend had gone to his house while his friend guarded the rear entrance of the house the man had knocked on the front door.the stranger who was inside the house had then attempted to escape from the rear entrance and failing in his attempt had hidden inside the kitchen. By now a crowd had gathered near the house.the man had opened the door and entered the house and caught the man who was hiding in the kitchen and dragged him into the sitting room of the house.

Everybody was shocked when the husband handed over his wife to the youth who was her paramour, saying “My wife loves you more than me therefore take her, and I am giving this house and all properties to you,l ook after her and my children,
