No parties from India or any other country had access to the Minuwangoda facility - Brandix
The Mahinda Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) yesterday confirmed that the passengers who arrived on September 22,were facilitated following all health authority guidelines,mria Operations Director Shehan Sumanasekera said.
While issuing a clarification regarding the arrival of charter flight UL-1160 on September 22, he said all passengers were sent for quarantine at Kosgoda Sheraton Hotel under the purview of the Sri Lanka forces. He further reiterated that all passengers (48) of the subjected flight were Sri Lankans origin and none were of Indian origin. However, Brandix Apparel Limited on Wednesday issued a statement that no parties from India or any other country had access to the Minuwangoda facility. Also they said the passengers were Sri Lankan employees. They had undergone the 28 day quarantine procedure. Their families were brought back via chartered flights.
