Reshika co-opted IOC mar­ket­ing sub-com­mit­tee

For­mer Olympian Reshika Udugam­pola, who is also the Sec­re­tary of the Na­tional Olympic Com­mit­tee of Sri Lanka’s (NOCSL) ath­letic com­mis­sion, has been co-opted into the IOC’S mar­ket­ing sub-com­mit­tee – the nom­i­nee from the South Asian Re­gion.

In­ter­na­tional she is now a full-time mar­keter at­tached to an in­ter­na­tional IT firm.

Com­ment­ing on her ap­point­ment Udugam­pola said, “This is a golden op­por­tu­nity for me to en­hance my knowl­edge and fa­mil­iarise my­self with the IOC me­chan­ics fur­ther­more. In this man­ner I could re­cip­ro­cate by guid­ing the next line of Lankan ath­letes and may help one of them win an Olympic Gold in the fu­ture.”
