Are we headed in the right direction?

-

This country is full of Professional Organisations such as the OPA, the GMOA, and Associations for Teachers, Students, architects, Engineers, Bankers and others.why have they not come out of their comfort zones to express their concerns about the mess created in this country and by its leaders, and the incompetent and corrupt bureaucracy not excluding the Defence Secretary and the IGP.!

The GMOA and Student Unions were very vociferous about SAITM but when it comes to an Isis-connected university in Kattankudy they are very quiet! Why?

Time is most opportune for these Associations and Professional organisations to voice their opinions by educating the public of their stand in this critical situation.they must in the first instance meet as a group and decide on a balanced view to prevent more harm being caused to this country as a whole in every respect. Keeping silent is an act of gross injustice and a betrayal of the oaths they have taken in their organisations and probably amounting to aiding and abetting in these acts of injustice

The public have no confidence in most of the present set of politicians and it is time the professionals in this country gave the lead and showed to those who matter the perfect manner these have to be tackled and resolved.wake up all Sri Lankans who believe in good governance, honesty and integrity.
