Condominium Authority Deputy GM arrested

Deputy General Manager (Regulatory) of the Condominium Management Authority (CMA) was yesterday arrested by the Bribery Commission on charges of soliciting a Rs.25,000 bribe.

Bribery Commission’s Director (Investigations) Padmini Weerasuriya said the suspect had allegedly sought the bribe from a Nugegoda businessman for the purpose of issuing a certificate put up a condominium. The suspect would be produced in the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
