A punishment transfer for no wrong done!
Anincident where a Ministry bigwig had taken on rent a vehicle for over one lakh of rupees a month triggered an uproar recently.
The higher authorities who had swung into action immediately had held an inquiry and later reprimanded the bigwig.
The chastened ministry bigwig had later made inquiries to find out the person who had leaked out the information to the media. However, the bigwig being an unpopular figure, none had provided him with a clue to identify the informant.
Finally, the bigwig had suspected a certain white-collar one in the relevant division as the author of his trouble and had decided to send him out on transfer. those who were really behind the affair celebrated this outcome, a report from the Narahenpita area said.
