DINNER WITH SPECIAL FRIENDS
A few dear friends including former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, his sister Kshanika, Mano Chanmugam and Neo de Alwis spent time at my home before we all left for dinner at the Boulevard. It was good to see that security and staff of neighbours were thrilled to see Ranil and came close to see and greet him, also my staff, including my maid’s children, the 4 year old gave him a salute which impressed Ranil. He was relaxed and talkative, he has such a vast reservoir of knowledge on all subjects. We were glad to see the restaurant full, We had a private room where we were joined by other dear friends, Ranil’s uncle and aunt. Lantra and staff hovered around pandering to our every whim, food and service were excellent and it was a most enjoyable evening.
