Ignorant behaviour

-

As several local media, the Army chief, the health authorities are reporting these days about the rampant spread of COVID-19, which is suspected to be the second tide and they often warn the general public to be extreme cautious and avoid contracting the dreaded viral infection.

Landing all the blame on BRANDIX would not bring the situation to where it was. Not to deny, this leading apparel industries was negligent in its responsibility towards its workers, their well-being but only worried about their targets. From their point of view, as major scale business entity, need to meet targets for their survival in the industry - locally and overseas - especially in this time of global crisis. However, what is important here is their failure to take early action to prevent this spread.

On the other hand, the people who are least care about the disease as many are seen without masks or lowering them below their jaws, without being aware of that the nostrils and the mouth must be covered in order to prevent the killer virus entering the human body. Many bus drivers are seen spitting on the roads after chewing beetle leaves with no knowledge of the laws or least considerate about the fellow human being.

I believe the police and other law enforcement bodies should see these non-adherence is brought to zero.otherwise we only provide the lip service about a country that fights to keep COVID-19 at bay.
