Taking Five-star Dining Beyond The Hotels
Recognised as industry leaders for culinary excellence and quality service, Cinnamon Grand Colombo and Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, will debut Cinnamon Catering, to take the dining experience beyond the confines of the two hotels.
The three unique customisable hosting services will include: cinnamon Privé (personalised dining for up to 30 pax, with a choice of 12 menus from Cinnamon Grand and Cinnamon Lakeside) and Cinnamon Event Catering (for over 30 pax, with a choice of 16 menus). The third service, Cinnamon Delivery, will facilitate a convenient home delivery option that will include dishes from the signature restaurants at Cinnamon Grand and Cinnamon Lakeside.
Guests will have the opportunity to select from a range of menu options that includes a variety of cuisines to reflect multiple tastes, preferences and event requirements. The catering service will also offer flexibility, convenience, and customised services including curated offerings to suit guest needs.
A team of professionals will operate the Catering arm, in accordance with Government and Ministry of Health safety and precautionary protocols, to ensure the safety of both guests and the service teams alike.
Cinnamon Privé is a curated fivestar dining experience, be it a private dinner for two or a family occasion, in the comfort of guest homes. The service includes décor, designs and centerpieces, and a personalised chef at the venue, available at an additional fee. Family dinners, anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, lunch outings, tea parties, and office gatherings, are some of the types of occasions catered to.
Cinnamon Grand’s Privé offerings include personalised set menus from eight selected restaurants: The London Grill, The Lagoon, Echo, Tao Chinese, Cheers Pub, Noodles, Nuga Gama, and Tea Lounge.
Cinnamon Lakeside’s Privé offerings include a choice of signature items from the Royal Thai and Long Feng restaurants, as well as the destination bar Colombar, and a special beverage package.
Guests have the option to choose from any one of the above menus, or even customise them according to their preferences. The Master Chefs at both Hotels, who create their culinary masterpieces, will provide their expertise to give guests options that complement their tastes, budgets and the events being hosted.
Cinnamon Catering – This option enables hosts to re-create the five-star experience at corporate events and private functions held at homes or offices. The range of services include everything from a barbeque or hightea at home, to brand launches, corporate gatherings or award ceremonies.
A variety of catering menus, 10 from Cinnamon Grand and six from Cinnamon Lakeside, are available. Services also include décor and detailed accessories, music, live bands, special lighting arrangements, etc. A minimum of 30 guests can be served, where a professional catering team will supervise and manage the event to ensure that guest requirements are met and exceeded.

In addition, the Hotels also provide packaged catering offers for corporate clients, apartment residents, embassy staff and others. Inclusive of free transportation within Colombo city, the dedicated Banquets and Food & Beverage teams will provide packages on regular menus or snacks, lunch and dinner menus or even cocktails and barbeque packages. Outdoor catering and back up clearance are also available on request, ensuring minimum hassle and effort on the part of the host.
Cinnamon Delivery – This service offers personalised delivery from Cinnamon Grand and Cinnamon Lakeside restaurants to the guests’ doorstep. The team may even surprise guests with a complimentary dessert or voucher! Orders can be placed by phone via Whatsapp and will be delivered by trained hotel staff who will ensure the safety and cleanliness of deliveries. Keeping practicality and usability, as well as the digital, Instagram-loving guest in mind, deliveries will be made in purpose-built and attractive packaging, keeping health and hygiene in mind.
