CHANNA STARTS ‘SANDA DIYA SALU’

Popular actor and director Channa Perera started work on his newest movie project titled ‘Sanda Diya Salu’ and the muhurath ceremony was held at the Nawaloka Auditorium in Colombo. The ceremony also marked Channa’s 20th year milestone as a film and tele drama director. The movie is produced by Janaka Edirisuriya, Fayaz Najimudeen, Fazal Ahamed, Prasad Wellalage, Prasad Fernando and Dhanuka Gamage. ‘Sanda Diya Salu’ is scripted and directed by Channa Perera while Janaka Yahampath handles the cinematography, Sameera Kindelpitiya the make up, Nimesh Kulasinghe the music and Gayan Srimal the choreography. Uresha Ravihari, Theekshana Anuradha, Supun Perera and Nuwandhika Senaratne are the playback singers. Lyrics have been penned by Wasantha Kumara Kobawaka, Nilar Tharinda Channa Fonseka, Senanayake, N. Cassim Perera, Jayawardana. Nimhara Cletus and Malani Mendis, Priyasad, Sheshadri Maureen Charuni, Kusum Renu, Lal Weerasinghe, Srimal Wedisinghe, Ajith Weerasinghe, Athula Adhikari and child artiste Liyana Kumarage play the key roles in the movie. The event’s media coordination was handled by Upul Nishantha.
