DHL Express Sri Lanka receives top accolades by Great Place to Work Institute

DHL Express, the world’s leading internatio­nal express service provider, has once again received recognitio­n in five categories for providing an excellent workplace in Sri Lanka by the Great Place to Work Institute.

Among the awards include, Best Multinatio­nal Corporatio­n in Sri Lanka, Gold Award for Best Medium Sized Enterprise Category, Top 40 Best Companies to work for in Sri Lanka in 2020 and the inaugural ‘10 Best Workplaces for Millennial­s in Sri Lanka 2020’. DHL Express also claimed the top spot for Best Workplace in Asia 2020 for two consecutiv­e years.

Furthermor­e, DHL Express Sri Lanka has been inducted into the ‘Great Place to Work Hall of Fame’, and was awarded the Legends status for achieving and sustaining the GPTW Certificat­ion status for six consecutiv­e years.

The awards are especially meaningful this year as they are an affirmatio­n of the company’s efforts in maintainin­g workplace morale and employee engagement.

Globally, DHL Expressros­e tothe second place on the list of World’s Best Workplaces 2020 by the Great Place to Work Institute, as well ason FORTUNE’S list of 25 Best Workplaces in the world. Additional­ly, DHL Express was recognized on 42best workplaces lists locally, with an additional 17 countries achieving certificat­ion status.

The methodolog­y behind the Great Place to Work ranking is highly rigorous that comprises both an employee survey and an audit into management and HR practices. The award recognizes high-trust leaders as well as innovative practices that help to foster a successful workplace culturefos­tered through Trust.

Commenting on winning the awards, Dimithri Perera, Country Manager, DHL Express Sri Lanka, said, “We are committed to fostering a workplace that encourages creative and innovative thinking as wellas delivering world-class service to our customers.
