SUNDAY

Worried because your custard or mayonnaise has curdled? Dont let it upset you. Put it through the blender and it will miraculous­ly become smooth again.

MONDAY

A little hint for those of you who sew. Keep sewing needles and pins in a box sprinkled with Talcum Powder to prevent them from rusting.

TUESDAY

Ginger eases muscle and joint pain, swelling and stiffness. A compound called Gingerol in ginger prevents production of pain triggering hormones. Add 2 tsp chopped ginger to meals daily.

WEDNESDAY

Watakolu(ridged Gourd) Stir Fry. Thinly slice Watakolu with skin on. Chop finely, B.onion, Garlic, Ginger, Green Chillies, stir fry in a little oil. Add sliced Watakolu, Fish Sauce, Oyster Sauce, and cook a few minutes. Last of all, add two beaten eggs, and let them scramble in the mixture.

THURSDAY

Do you know the difference between a Wart, a Corn, and a Callus? A Wart is a viral infection of the surface levels of the skin. A Corn is a hardening or thickening of the skin, especially on the toes, caused by pressure or friction. A Callus is an area of the skin which is hard or thick, especially on the palm of the hand ,or sole of the foot, due to continual friction or pressure.

FRIDAY

Our feet are an extra-ordinary feat of engineerin­g , with a quarter of all the bones in the human body. Each foot has 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, and 19 muscles.

SATURDAY

"Life is a story in volumes three , the Past, the Present, the Yet To be". The first is finished and laid away, the second we are reading day by day, the third and last of volume three, is locked from sight. God keeps the key".
