Samagi Jana Balawegaya MPS Harin Fernando and Manusha Nanayakkara will reveal startling revelations in Parliament today against the ongoing probe on the Easter Sunday terror attacks and how Naufer Maluvi, who the government claimed was the mastermind behind the terror attacks had never been brought in front of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry.

The Daily Mirror learns that the duo will also expose names of certain individuals who were attempting to cover up investigations as well as the names of CID officers who were transferred to other departments just because they were about to find a breakthrough in the probe.

Further, the SJB MPS will also reveal the names of certain individuals who had a hand in the attacks and were yet to be questioned by the authorities and details of what transpired before and after the attacks in 2019.

In the midst of the Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith making contradictory statements, initially claiming that local political forces were behind the Easter attacks and then yesterday claiming that international forces were behind it, saying his initial statement had been misunderstood, the SJB said it will expose the truth surrounding the attacks for the benefit of the public after information had been received.

Following the parliamentary sessions, the SJB will then hold a vigil at the St. Anthony’s Church in Kollupitiya in the evening in remembrance of those killed in the attacks, ahead of the second anniversary of the attacks which will be commemorated tomorrow.
